The model for Pakistan was primarily based on the Population and Housing Census 2017, which included information about the common construction materials at the subnational level for urban and rural areas separately. In addition, the World Housing Encyclopedia entries for Pakistan were investigated. For nonresidential buildings, the Economic Survey 2020-21 was consulted.
