Palestine#

The model developed by Urban Planning and Disaster Risk Reduction Center (UPDRRC) of An-Najah National University for Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) for the Integrating Resilience in Local Governance in West Bank and Gaza (WB&G) project was parsed into the Global Exposure Model format.

Israel#

The primary data sources consulted for the residential building stock were:

The primary data source for the non-residential building stock was:

Jordan#

Data from the Population and Housing Census (2011, 2015) were used to derive the residential exposure model for Jordan.

Data from the Economic Establishments Census (2018) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) was used to derive the non-residential exposure model for Jordan.

Lebanon#

Data from the Labour Force and Household Living Conditions Survey (2018-2019) and Living Conditions Survey (2007) were used to derive the residential exposure model for Lebanon.

Data from the Census of Buildings, Dwellings and Establishments (2004) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) was used to derive the non-residential exposure model for Lebanon.

Syria#

Data from the UN-HABITAT Syria Country Profile (2016) and World Housing Encyclopedia entries were used to derive the residential exposure model for Syria.

Data from the International Labour Organization (ILO) was used to derive the non-residential exposure model for Syria.

Rest of the Middle East#

Iraq#

Data from the Iraq Indicators and Figures (2012) and UN-HABITAT Iraq National Housing Policty (2010) were used to derive the residential exposure model for Iraq.

Data from Industrial Large Industrial Establishments Statistics (2018), Industrial Medium Industrial Establishments Statistics (2014), and the International Labour Organization (ILO) was used to derive the non-residential exposure model for Iraq.
