Repository structure

Each repository includes the following folders and subfolders:

• Config: country model files per country and per occupancy type, including the csv and xml files

• Exposure: country model files per country in xml format, which references the relevant csvs (in subfolders noted below)

  • Aggregated: country model files per country and occupancy in csv format, typically as initially derived for each country and at a coarser resolution

  • Disaggregated: country model files per country and occupancy in csv format, typically run through a spatial disaggregation resolution to be at a finer resolution (unless disaggregated exposure was already available through other means)

• Mapping: taxonomy mapping files per country and/or region

• Metadata: metadata files indicating source data for res, com and ind models.

  • Mapping_Schemes: mapping scheme files per country and occupancy used to parse source data into dwelling/building classes. For example, mapping schemes using “exterior wall material” and “housing type” from the housing census.

• Scripts: submodule with exposure unit tests required by pipeline

• Summaries: summary csvs and pngs by adm0, adm1, and taxonomy
